Hey! I'm SagelyByMoonlight, but you can just call me Sage. Due to a request on a different site that I frequent, a few of my friends here know me as Sevii, but I'd appreciate it if everyone other than them just called me Sage. As my username, DeviantID and several hundred of my favorites will tell you, I'm a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, particularly the Great and Powerful Trixie. If you asked me why I love her so much though, you probably wouldn't get a satisfying answer. That's because I don't exactly know why myself. I just do. Besides ponies, I'm a fan of a ton of other nerdy things, my favorites of which are Pokémon, (the handheld games, not the anime) One Piece, Metroid, Super Smash Bros., Animaniacs (Rita and Runt are my absolute favorite characters) Cowboy Bebop, Steven Universe and a ton of other stuff you probably don't care about. I don't consider myself a furry, but I do absolutely adore anthropomorphic animals. My OCs are Oromo and Devlin, a zebra/gryphon couple that I love to death, and I'd love to get more art featuring them.

Politically, I'm almost as liberal as you can be. I'm on the fence about issues like abortion, but I fully support marriage equality and rights for those of the LGBT community. I know my dA tag says "Hobbyist Artist", but I'm more of a concept guy than a drawing guy. A dreamer, y'know? I love the aspect of worldbuilding because my daydreams help me come up with some stuff that I think is pretty frickin' awesome. With the right inspiration, I could come up with tons of ideas. I just need someone who's an actual artist to help me bring those ideas to life.

When it comes to art, I like a lot of types. I'm of the mind that the content of the art doesn't always matter as long as it's drawn or painted well. Art can be sexy, cute, cool, touching, sad, joyful or a whole range of other emotions. Art of a sexual nature can still be enjoyed for reasons other than what's on the tin. If it's clear that the artist worked hard on every other aspect of the piece and it shows, then they've done their job excellently as far as I'm concerned, and it might just get a spot among my favorites. I am not a fan of overly gory or disturbing pieces done purely for shock value, though.


I LOVE jazz. It's my absolute favorite genre of music. It's happiness, contentment, anger, sadness frustration and a whole range of other emotions rolled into a finely tuned and soothing package, and I love it, especially when it's utilized alongside hip-hop. That gives it an urban, ambient feel that makes it perfect to listen to. I try to be different from the archetypal black urban youth. I love to read, I've dabbled in writing, and I
have a budding passion for flight and aviation that I don't even quite understand. It's just...the thought of being up there in the wild blue yonder, with nothing but miles and miles of empty space all around excites me. I want to experience that freedom someday.
